At Monday's assembly HIS was visited by Mr Eco Hero on his first visit to New Zealand.

A staunch believer in the ability of each of us to make a difference in our world, he used his rap and dance talents to highlight various global issues. By showing us the effects of plastic on the sea life in our oceans, he challenged us to say no to using plastic bags and drinking from plastic straws. Picking up litter as we come across it is also an easy way to make a difference to our world.
