Literacy Mornings

After Ngata's successful Literacy morning, last week Cooper, Mansfield, Batten and Hillary whānau held theirs this week.

Whānau were invited into the classrooms to watch and participate in lessons. Some classes took part in Science experiments, allowing students to make observations, which they wrote about later, allowing a cross-circular approach. Other classes worked on poetry.

It was a privilege for students to showcase their learning, and it was also a great opportunity for whānau to get involved.
