As part of their studies into NZ Histories and Migration, Mansfield Whānau visited Te Tuhi Art Museum.
It was a fantastic, hands-on experience where every student got to complete their own artwork that reflected the challenges, surprises, difficulties, and joys of moving from one area to another in search of a better life.
Their tutor from the museum was amazing and all of them had a great time exploring the museum as well as reflecting on life of migrants both from the past and now.
