On Tuesday, the ESOL class held a shared lunch to celebrate Matariki, the Maori New Year. We have been learning about Matariki over the last two weeks and one of the ways Matariki is celebrated is through the sharing of food and culture. The students brought lots of delicious foods from their cultures to share! We all enjoyed trying each other's foods and chatting together.
