School Speech Finals

Speech Finals

The school speech final was held at Howick Intermediate on Tuesday 22 August. It was an excellent competition with some outstanding speakers.

The judges (from local colleges) commented on how well the students spoke and made special mention of the high level of content and delivery from all the speech finalists.

It was a tough competition and Jade Kittson was the overall winner with her speech, "Gender Stereotypes". Jade will be representing Howick Intermediate at the South Eastern Zone Speech Competition on 19 September.
